i think that the people that are trying to ban dangerous breeds are ignorant selfish people. ANY dog is capable of doing harm. only these breeds are targeted because they are a fighting breed. everyone is shutting their eyes to the fact that the ones responsible are the owners, and are probably too lazy to so anything about it, so they take the coward way out and just figure to make these breeds extinct

hi, my name is sarah. i currently live in louisiana. I am a 100% against the banning of pitbulls. i have 4 pitbulls and they have never once growled, snared, or bitten someone. heck the hardly even bark at anyone. my weenie dog is more likely to bite before my pit bulls. it is not the dogs fault it is how they are raised and it is not just the pitbulls, it could be any dog.to show my support i have posted theis link to myspace.

These certain dogs that have acted out in aggression towards others are only doing what they have been taught. What else are they supposed to know? Society does not agree with this behavior, of course. So they decide that the best thing to is extermination of this breed. Does this sound familiar to a moment in history??? (Holocaust) If you want to blame someone look to the person that the dog trusted. I’ll definitely be posting this site on myspace.

It doesnt seem to matter to the locals as long as they don’t need to deal with it, Try baning the German Shepard, they are just as agressive as any other dogs, But No, Try this and every cop in the united states would fight this, How is that NOT prejudice? Just because they are the law doesnt mean they are above the law! …. Dont get me wrong I appreciate all dogs, I am a current owner of Red Nose Pit and he hardley even barks, I agree with everyone else, IT IS NOT THE BREED, IT IS THE OWNER. If they want to ban something they should ban ignorant people, why is it illegal to own a pit but we ca have stupi people shoot you over hundr dollar shoes? Sorry I forgot, If we banned stupid people we wouldn’t haveany body to run this F’d up country. This law is stupid and needs to be squashd, whats next making every woman only have 1 chil because we dont have the room and resources for more population but can open our gates to every man or woman from 3rd world countries who are trying 5to bettr themselves? Legelation Should be pointed to humans not dogs! Why is it fair we ban pit bulls for thir agression, come on Governer lets ban handicapped people who can never live a normal life. No you say! Why? I work for an animal hospital as a technician and i would rather wrestle with a 95lbs pitbull, rotti, or german shep. then a 5lb chihuahua!!!
I have three beautiful dogs that I love more than anything in the world. None of them are aggressive, are great with kids, and are all quite love the world. My ‘middle child’, is my Rotty, German Shepard, Chou mix. Three breeds that are well known for their aggressiveness. She is without a doubt one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever seen, this coming from an unbiased person here. I thank god that I live in Virginia, where something like this hasn’t come to be created yet, while my heart bleeds for those in California. This law indirectly thins out the breed, which makes me the most upset because they are working the system to achieve the ultimate goal on their agenda. It’s wrong. I must feign ignorance in the issue, and will admit I haven’t the faintest if there is any way I can help, as a resident of Virginia. I am scared of pit bulls but i dont think that the whole breed should be punshed becoiuse of a couple bad ones. punish the deed not the whole breed.
